Looking for Birth information on Constance May Warnham.My grandmother
Born 1893 in Holborn ,details from death certificate.Marriage was on 5.9.1912 to Walter Sidney Cato.No fathers name on marriage certificate.Living with Walter Bridgman and family in the 1901 and 1911 census she was listed as their niece.Walter's
wife was Annie nee Mason.Who was Constance May Warnham's mother and father.
Help Please.

Hi, i've searched the images quarter by quarter 1893 and the first quarter 1894, the printing is very bad, the ink is so heavy on some pages that it's impossible to read some entries. there's a very good chance that the birth has been mistranscribed. Forename & Surname.

Looking at the 1901 census again, do you think Constance could have been a niece of the boarder 'Jane Kitcheny' and not the Bridgmans, as she appears under the name of the boarder?

I too have searched 1893 index for likely births and the first and last qtr are very hard to read.

maybe susanna is constance's aunty and Constance May is her name father Warnham,just a shot in the dark

just a thought - if the 1901 census is correct it is likely she was born in 1892 not 1893. How old was she on the marriage certificate - death certificates are often unreliable for dates of birth as they are only as good as the informant thinks.

When searching original pages the names are in alphabetical order so even if unreadable should be in the right position for Warnham.

i have put in constance warnham without a birth date on free bdm and nothing comes up.

doesn't really fit any info other than as a niece of Walter but.....
