Hi Catherine,
I haven't got a birth cert for her
i think she was born in England on all the census ive got she was born Northumberland Area.

I do not know where the name Bengabe comes from but not sure if thats what it says. i have the birth certs for 3 sons all with the mmn Pringle 2 were born before Jane & 1 after Jane
at the moment im trying to find the marriage for Jane & Robert then it would give me more info like if she had been married before & fathers name

Sorry for just butting in here but Bengabe isnt a very British name could she possibly have moved here from another country just a thought of why you cant find her, or do you ave a birth cert for her?

I've been thinking about Jane been 28 when John was born. it could be Robert & Jane had lost a Child/ren before he was born, the reason i say this is all the way back from my father their seem's to be a lot of infant death's from my fathers side of the family as he had 2 brothers who died before they were 5yrs.
On all three birth cert's it just say's formely Pringle
for Jane.

Yes the birth cert's have come really quick i ordered them one on sunday night after i spoke to you.

i thought the same as you that they might have copied it wrong on all the cert's Jane (mother) has just put her mark on the cert's and someone else has wrote her name it make's me wonder if they heard her wrong" just thinking aloud"

I've tried to find Jane Pringle & Robert Cowan(s) marriage reg, had no luck

The 2 birth cert's i ordered for William's brother's have arrived today, their mother's name is Jane PRINGLE the same as William's & father is Robert Cowan.
Im still stuck on Jane Cowan(s) / Cowen(s) the cert i've got for Jane is the only one i could find.

There are no other Robert Cow*n* married to a Jane in that area so perhaps the birth cert for William is correct.

I can't read the surname on the cert you emailed but I don't think the first letter is B.

i ordered that one with Jane's and the mothers mmn
is Pringle.Father's name Robert & mother's name Jane
I have ordered 3 birth cert's for William around the time he was born and 2 have had the wrong parents
so i dont know where to go from here unless i order one for the other boys. what do you think
