Francis Jack Smith died 27th September 1993 aged 73years. Taunton registered. Could someone look up if poss his wedding date to his wife Joyce Annie M Hawkins would be around the ashbrittle bampton area and also his place of birth which could be peverell or huntsham. |

no definately francis jack smith died sept 27th 1993 that is what is on his headstone i am still wet from looking round the cemetarys! everyone knew him as jack maybe his real second name is John? who knows any ideas would be appreciated as for the mothers maiden name havent got a clue but found a Caroline Smith who is buried at Huntsham cemetary 18th August 1943 at 51 years my uncle told me francis mum was buried there not sure if that is her that is the only smith i could find there |

could be not sure on his parents names Caroline was the only one i came up with and Tiverton is not far from huuntsham a lot of his family back then i think went to where the work wasb on the farms so moved about a bit round that part of Devon francis was brought up in huntsham and moved to Ashbrittle when he married joyce and that is where he lived for the remainder of his years |

No dont know his fathers name was told he was buried there as well but only looked up to the buriel dates to about 1968 one of the ladies of the huntsham church was letting me look in all the old records they had wished i had carried on looking after 1968 as he may have died later on |
