Thank you ever so much for the help.
As i explained i did have sub to findmy past but it expired two days ago, i have been looking around for the different sites to see where to go for my sub next time, as i dont like the fact that findmypast dont have access to 1901 or 1851 census's (as i paid for a full sub i feel i should have access to all census's) Thanks again

Could i ask how you found the children of Caroline and Elijah.
There are a couple you have listed that i knew nothing about, although they are slightly older so may have not been on other census's already posted.

What makes you think i lied, i have no reason to lie!?
My subscription on findmypast ran out on 16th September!! I have had threads asking for help with 1901 or 1851 census's because findmypast doesnt give access to these! You will also note that i had my own thread offering help ie census/BMD/Passenger list/Military look ups etc, this was closed on the 17th September!!

Furthermore, as you seem to be checking me out, could you actually read the thread dated the 2nd of September (my message advising what i would like help with) In this i state that i have looked for records etc and cannot locate them, and have asked if anyone had any ideas or could help via ancestry etc as they dont seem to be found on findmy past, therefore i do not feel that i have mislead anyone but am sorry if you feel that i did.

Ian, the christenings that I found were on the BVRI discs. BVRI is British Vital Records Index. They're a set of 16 discs that you can purchase from the LDS Church through the Familysearch website. They cover christenings and marriages not usually found on IGI, although there is sometimes some overlap. They're extracted from parish records so quite reliable.

if you are looking for the best site for a new subscription, you quite honestly cannot do better than ancestry.co.uk.

You get all censuses from 1841 to 1901 England, Scotland and Wales (ie, all available).

You get access to the Complete Index to UK bmds from Septembr 1837 to about 2005 ..... so you can search quarter by quarter for all those certificates.

You get access to Pallot's Marriages (london area only admittedly).

Plus others too numerous to mention ...................... including family trees and historical information.


No question about it in my mind!!
