census look up around 1854 please.

yes this could be as our thomas chowney was born 1829 ish as i said but then if this is the case then there is no james chowney and i have to find another link? thomas would have been about right for that census if so still means we may have found another generation to the tree lol. |

ive tried all kinds of angles and when i think im getting somewhere i then draw a blank , it dosnt help that i have only traced my great grandads side to 1829 thomas chowney , but anything after that time is prooving difficult. |

I can't find a possible Annie in 1861. If she is James's daughter then perhaps her mother married/lived with another man after James's transportation & she has that surname in 1861. |
