Hi Denise, Thanks for the offer for Norfolk marriages. Is there a record of William Shardalow marrying? If there is does it show his wife's maiden name and where she came from, i.e. outside the Parish or from within? Many thanks - Genevieve

Hi I have found one marriage: William Shardalow & Mary Browne 20/9/1825 North Walsham. Not too many Shardalows listed, so if you have any other Shardalow names you wish me to look up, let me know. I hope this one proves interesting and the one you are looking for.

Sorry Margaret. I have checked all Norfolk & the 25 suffolk parish records. Kendle, Kendall, Kendell and Kendal. Plenty of John's listed, none marrying a Caroline. In fact there are no Carolines marrying any kendalls. Sorry. If you have any other names, I will take a look for you.

Hello Denise I was wondereing if you could do a look up of the marriages of Charles Mays Grange. He was born c1814 in Snettisham and married an Elizabeth, but I don't know her surname. Their first child Elizabeth was born c.1834 in Snettisham. If you find any other Grange marriages around that area I would be most interested. Thanks very much Anna

The CD only lists the marriages, to get details, you will have to send off for a copy of the parish record. This should tell you the name of the fathers and sometimes the occupations. Hi Anna Sorry for the delay. There are a few Granges on the CD but none in Snettisham. I cannot see a Charles Mays Grange listed but there is a John Grange to Eleanor Phetham 10/7/1804 King's Lynn St Margaret. Sorry I cannot be of any more help. If you have any more names or areas, please get back to me and I will look again.

Joseph Corbell & Mary Minns 15/10/1810 Elizabeth Corble & Robert Bales 20/7/1835 and Elizabeth Cordall & James Woodcock 15/4/1811 There are others in different parishes if there is anyone in particular you are looking for? Hi Denise, Many thanks for your offer - I am not sure if the marriage of my 2xgreat grandfather took place in Norfolk, but I would be greatful if you could have a look: HENRY CODLING born around 1800 in Briston (on the 1841 census age is 35 but on 1861 he is 64) and EMMA CLARIDGE (don't know where she was born) I have a date of 1827 but don't know if that is right. If it did take place in Norfolk, I would be so greatful of any details you can find. Best wishes, Maureen
