hi angela the only thing i could find on VRI and NBI was 1 christening for eliza simmions kent.i dont know if it is your eliza but here it is eliza simmons ch.2 dec 1810 seal kent father john mother mary. theres no record of henry at all,or any marriage or death.sorry susie ps was it your henry i found on 1891 or was it the wrong one susie debbie that great.im glad i was able to help susie

Hi Susie Could you look on the VRI for a marriage between John William Fail/Fale and Mary Jane? in York between 1868 and 1880. Any births or deaths with that surname in York would be a bonus, but only if you've got time. Thanks, Jane

Yes it was my Henry you found! In fact everything you have sent me has progressed my search and understanding of my familys life. The Eliza Simmons looks like the right one too! Don't think there is anyplace called Seal in Kent so likely to be Deal which is where Walmer where she was born is. Now I will have to search for her Father John Simmons and mother Mary and try to track down some census records for Kent. If you know of any way you can help please shout! Angela Born
