Thanks for that. Fills in quite a bit. She was my gggrandmother. The 1841 info is also useful as it means they could have moved to Lancs. by then and is prob where my gggrandad met her. Cheers John |

Hi Robin Now you have confirmed Phoebe Ellen's last name, could you look for any more info on her ? She was born in Nottingham 1855 married Samuel Smith 1879 and they had 5 or 6 children in 1881 she is living at 16 School st. Nottingham. Thanks, Steve |

Hi Robin I am searching Henson ........Herbert or Harold b 1858 Chilwell. His profession in 1881 was fancy lace maker. I am trying to trace his certs. for his parents. These are christening dates at St Mary and some may be another family or have died. There is no record of this marriage. and the family do not appear on the 1851 Census in Isabella Street.Again these are Christening dates. Ian and Nicola P A Thomas Thorpe Married Mary Jane Slack at Stapleford 24th August 1884. I will need to know the area Thomas came from to do a census search as the Thorpes are spread all around the County and I cannot find a birth to match yet. Where was he in 1881? |
