Hi Sheila Would it be possible for you to look a couple of things up for me. My Grandmother Bertha Wil(l)son born 1870 Islington, she was not living in London apparently. Also her mother Mary Wilson born Islington 1828, and she would most probably have been living in the Islington/Hackney area of London. Thanks so much Lisa

hi, im looking for anything on an EDMUND WALTERS born C1846 (56 in 1901 census) or, THOMAS JAMES born also C1845ish! Both in Bristol (possibly bedminster district)only if you have time of course thankyou very much you kind person!

Thanks so much for this offer. I see that there are three entries in Pallot's for Matthew Tanner in Essex. Would it be possible for you to view these for me? Also...4 entries in the parish and probate records for Charles Sheppard Norfolk. But if you are inundated with queries please don't worry. With many thanks anyway.

hi Vanessa, nothing is coming up in Pallots, other than a Matthew Lill who married a Frances Tanner Regarding Parish and Probate records I am not sure what they mean so I have just copied them apart from the last which is shortened All in county of Norfolk-index of wills 1751-1818 1778 Hunt, Charles, Creeting St mary, S, farmer 95 Sheppard 1778 Bannister,Charles, Kings Lynn N, custom house officer 100 Sheppard 1778 Fletcher, Charles, Lingwood, N, yeoman 172 Sheppard Minutes of Mayoralty 1632-1635 an entry that Mr Sheppard and others complained that due to not cuttinge the river the grounds of diverse men are surrownded, passage on the river stopped and there should be a proceeding in the Comission of Sewers ( the strange spellings are not mine! )

Hello Sheila Hope you can help me, I'm trying to find relatives of my husbands grandfather. His name was RONALD GILBERT PHILLIPS and his dob was 1/4/1904. According to my mum in law he was born in West Kirby and his parents were JOHN CHARLES PHILLIPS and ALICE EDLIN. RONALD married DORIS BESSIE ROSE (dob 31/8/1902) on 23/4/1930 in Rio, Brazil. hi Helen, cannot find anything about John Charles but there are 4 Alice Edlin on 1891 census age 14 b. London age 9 b. Notts age 39 b. Herts age 30 b. Msex...any more clues? I am trying to find their marriage on freebmd but it is on a go slow..if you find that you could send for the certificate which would really help you
