hello Robin, i am not sure if you can help me or not. i am looking to find where my grtgrandparents lived when they died in 1927. i know i can order their death certs but if you can help i would be most gratful. linda

If they were in the city 1920, I can check for the name.

Robin, they lived somewhere in Bulwell at the time. their names were William and Sarah Timson.(which i should have told you first, sorry). linda

Hello Robin could you please look on your census for 1861 John Davis/ Davies born nottingham c1840 on 1881 his age is given as 38 he died somewhere between 1881/1891. i know he had a brother Thomas not sure when he was born age in 1891 is 41 and in 1901 age is 49 there father was called james sorry it's not much to go on but thats all info i have. also could you look in your directories for John william davis wife rose/rosetta living in nottingham. thank-you for this very kind offer of help Regards Bev

Hi Robin when john married in 1870 he was living at mount east street and in 1876 when his son john willam was born they were living in stagg court hope this is more help to you BEV

Hi Robin - I have just seen your message and I wonder if I am too late to ask. When you were kind enough to look for Harry Smith and Martha Smith in Bulwell for me previously, did you mean that you had looked in 1920? If not could I PLEASE PLEASE ask if you could do that for me now. By 1920 they should have a 16 yr old daughter Lilian May and an 11 yr old son named Thomas Harry and possibly a son Jack (older) may have left home. Would love to know where they were living and with what children etc. Thank you - Chris Smith p.s. in 1909 I have them living at 27 Kett Street in Bulwell. p.p.s. It is their ages that I am particularly interested in so that I have a better chance of finding their marriage. Thanks again Chris

Christine I have looked previously and Kett Street is not listed.Every Street is listed until the city outskirts when only the main ones are listed seperately. Sorry.

SORRRRRRYYYYY - It's me again. My Husband Graham has just informed me that he thinks that they lived on Merchant Street in later years. I think that is more of a main road. Could I be a REAL nuisance and ask if you could look for Harry Smith on Merchant Street please. Thanks Chris
