Hello Daniel, Thank you so much for your offer. My great grandmother lived at 63 Market St in 1854, do you know if the original building is still standing? Is Saint Wereburghs Church still there? elaine just being nosey now what was your aunts name i was brought up around that area i remember at the top of tobin street trotts which was a second hand shop. and the wood yard was on the left. if you carry on down tobin st you come to the promenade at egremont. all not far from wallasey town hall. i went to church street school (church st is opposite tobin street) and i was married at st john church at the top of church st. my grandad had a bakery in wallasey he was born 1878. memoriessssssss brenda x |

Hi Diane, Could you email me please so I have your address. Market street still exists but i don't know if that specific address does. I'll have to check. I can do St. Werburgh's if you want me to do it still. Its not in the middle of the shops but more on the outskirts. The priest can go to Beaties in less than a minuite if he wants to. |

hi daniel apologies for stepping on your toes. i always have a nose at local threads and i jusy couldnt think where i had seen st werburghs before so i did a google search and came up with the site with some nice pics. i have done a few pics for diane in the past and i took it upon myself to answer her sooooooo sorry for intefering on your thread only with the best intentions tho lol brenda x |

The spelling of Werburgh was actually incorrect on the Marriage cert! but theres still not much online. I have seen the pic, and will check the rest of the site out too.
