hello and thankyou! My G grandfather's name was Henry John POTTER baptised 14/07/1884 Wesleyn Methodist Sth Benfleet Essex, that is all I have. He had a sister named Mabel and a brother named Walter. There was also another sibling named Jubilee, but I don't know if it was a male or female. His parent's names were Emmanuel.....who married Ann(e)? I believe all from the Benfleet Essex area. If you could help in any way, I would be so grateful, as I live in Australia, and have no idea where to go from here. Cheers Michele

HIS FATHER WAS THOMAS HORN & MOTHER GERTRUDE NEE ?, THEY WERE BORN AROUND 1900 +/- 5 YRS AND DIED IN 1970 AND 1972 I THINK? Hi, could you look up John and Mary Ann Took or Tooke in 1891 either Essex or Norfolk. They are a couple ands should be in their mid 40s in 1891. In 1881 they lived in Pilham, Norfolk and in 1901 John was in Langdon Hills Essex but I think Mary Ann must have died by then. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers, Vanessa

Elaine, My gggg/grandfather Robert Gladstone lived in Church Street Spittal, Northumberland at the time of his wedding in 1866. I believe that he lived there with his father (also Robert, who was a cattle dealer) but I am trying to establish the rest of the family makeup. I suppose what I really need is a census check for 1861 or 1871 for Church Street. Is this something you could do for me. Many thanks. Paul Gladstone

Hi vanessa, There is no trace of a Mary Ann aged 40+ took on 1891 census.There is only 1 John Edward Took on 1891 census and he is married to a Fanny E aged 40 and had boarders staying with them.
