whoa whoa whoaaaaaaa enough for the moment please (the thread does say ON HOLD !!). I haven't had the chance to do any lookups the last couple of weeks as I've been on call and therefore busier in the evenings. I'll make a start tonight on the requests above (Marcie, Judith, Dorothy, Julie, Lorna, Elizabeth and Jayne), I'll try and get them done by the end of the week. No more for the moment though please. NB, Julie yes I have a full census set now, the bad disc has finally been replaced :o) |

So, Paul, are you doing them, or is it on hold? Anyone offering lookups on a CD is incredibly generous - I do realise that you have to wade through them and you go cross-eyed!!! When I've unpacked my Buckinghamshire ancestry papers, I'll see if I need any from 1841 (have had "great fun" searching microfilm at the FRC for them in the past!). :-) Joy |

Joy, What I do is offer the lookup, wait till I have half a dozen or so then put it on hold till we've done them all. Then I offer the lookup again. As it stands I've got two left outstanding that I know of (one on here and one in an email), but both waiting responses to messages (and both for Wycombe, HUGE area to search). I'll open it up again next week I would imagine (but since it's you, if there's anything you need....) |

Thanks, Paul! :-) Wycombe ! - you wouldn't have time to do anything else for months! If I've missed any at the FRC, they'll be in Hughenden, Speen, Bledlow areas, I think. May get back to you when I find things!! :-) Joy |
