oooh elaine- i did loads of look ups for someone last night !!! including sending images from ancestry, spent 2 hours on it all. i have just had an e mail from her with 15 questions on it ! ie- where did you find this, that and the other. and could i possibly post the images to her, cos they are not too clear on her computer, plus some of the ages differ by 1 or 2 years- so how do i know they are the right ones. plus.... er, could go on for ages. !!! sorry, i will delete this when you have read this, and sympathised with me enough, lol. sue. xxx |

Hello Elaine. Could you look up some families in Tideswell for me, please. I'm looking for some Needhams, especially Thomas (abt 25) & Ann (abt 20) and Thomas' parents William & Elizabeth. Elizabeth is about 50 and I presume William will be the same. Thomas is a weaver and William a carter . Also, could you see if there is a Hannah Flinders in Tideswell, please. She's Ann's mother and a brickwall. Many thanks Helen |

*Kay Walsh* These are the findings in Tissington for the surname Botham: ! John Botham aged 22 .. page 207 Elizabeth Botham aged 25 .. page 211 Thomas Botham aged 65 Farmer Mary Botham aged 40 Francis Botham aged 15 Simeon Botham aged 12 Charlotte Botham aged 4 .. page 214 I'm afraid it doesn't give relationships .. so Mary (40) could be wife OR daughter .. the others COULD be grandchildren or children ?? I'm sorry I can't take the image ..PC probs :-( Hope the above goes someway to helping. Elaine :-) |
