Find Ancestors

Anybody got anything they want looked up on the National Probate Calendar 1858 - 1968? It will tell you whether somebody left a will, and if so where they lived and who the executors of their will were, and how much money they left. You will have to give me their name and the year they died and any other details that might help like the date of death if you have it, place of death, names of relatives, etc. I'm not planning another trip for a while, so no more requests please!

Could you look to see if Johann daly of 3 hannan road liverpool left a will , she died in 1966. i dont know the exact date but she was buried on 21 feb .And also william daly who died in 1948 liverpool.thankyou for you offer. i put a request on the records board to see if anyone was going to the liverpool records office as this is what i wanted checking regards linda

Kate Could you see if anthing there for James Marshall, died 1858 (Feb) Janet Marshall, died in 1889 (April) John Marshall, died in 1893 (May) Margaret Marshall, died in 1930 (Dec) Robert Marshall, died in 1945 (Jan) and Robert W Marshall, died in 1946 (Feb) All were in Rothesay, Scotland. I would very much like to take you up on your kind offer - I am researching John Sidney Dench otherwise Sidney John Dench and I would be interested in whether or not he left a Will - he died on 10th May 1933 at 42 Milford Drive, Levenshulme, Manchester. Please can you look for John Edward Palfreyman born 1865 in Birkenhead and died after 1902 probably in the same place . He was a sailor in his youth but may have had the family jewellery business by then. His wife was Margaret and he had a daughter Winifred. Thanks.

Just to let you know if you go to the probate office it is in the Crown Court you can look at the wills and if you want to order it costs £5

I'll be looking these up next week as they were added after I set off this morning! So I'll get back to you all next week to say if I find anything.

hi kate- many thanks for this. i have a john booth who had 18 acres of land in 1861. the land was in turnpike road, drighlington, near bradford, west yorkshire. he died in 1865. on the 1871 census his wife elizabeth was still living on the farm on turnpike road, but only had 4 acres of land. she died in 1874 [aged 91 !]what happened to the rest of the land is a mystery. any help would be wonderfull, sue.[ i believe the land was obtained in 1767 by samuel booth- john's father]
