Hi Val I agree with you about your elusive FHG causing you a problem. I wish you luck finding his death and I shall watch, with interest, for an update. If he does turn up in my area, my offer to search our local newspapers will still stand. Regards Joan |

Hi Joan Thank you! for butting in as you wrongly put it!!! Sadly I think I'm going to have one big problem with this man!!! With no definate dates or places of death, its hard to look up any papers!! I tried the suggestion given by Gwynne to google Colindale newspaper library, got through and asked if they had obituaries?, hoping that maybe I could have seen his name or details of the accident, but cannot find anything!! I'm probably not doing something right!! I really dont know!! As Ive said time and again,!! Im so grateful to all the kind people on here trying to help me! It has to be the bigest challenge I've had to overcome. Instead of calling him Frederick henry george I now mention the illusive FHG!!! he obviously doesnt want to be found Thank you again! for trying!! regards Val |

Hi Val, Only saw this this morning. The only way to get anything from the library is a personal visit. From their website you can see which newspapers covered the area of the death. When I have a date and likely papers I contact a researcher and she does the search for me and copies the articles. She has done several searches for me (from an exact date) and her charges are very reasonable. She "saves up" requests until she has enough to make a day in the library worthwhile which keeps the costs to clients down. Email me for her contact address. Gwynne |

Hi Val Excuse me butting in here, but if you find this death was in West Ham and you don’t have any luck with Colindale Newspaper Library, I can look in Stratford Library for you. I’m not sure which newspapers they hold though. Joan x |

Hi Just thought you might need putting in touch with each other if this was a bizarre co-incidence!!! Had a thought re: the fact that FHG has 3 "first" names ... maybe his death cert got registered with them in the wrong order ... so may be down, for example, George Frederick Henry. Only thought that when I went to fill in a census search form surname first this evening and couldn't find anything because I'd put the names in the wrong order! S:> |

Hello again Gwynne I've been through the 1837 for his death from 1926-1928 and havent found him!!!!......... Its as if he doesnt want to be found!!.......... It looks like I shall have to wait until the 1911 census comes out and I probably wont be here when the 1921 is released!! Not got much of a chance have I!!!....... regards Val |
