Lorraine many thanks for the offer when you next have five mins could you search the 1851 Dublin census for: Alexander TEES a Gentleman ( info from daughters marriage cert) Sarah Wife b Dublin 1809 Mary Dau b Dublin 1837 Clemintina Myra Dau b Dublin 1839 I know that the family were in London by 1858 when Clemintina married. Scots Origins - Hi Lorraine - thanks for the offer. I am trying to trace my gt. grandmother Johanna Lowrie who was born in Dundee c.1840. All I know is that her father was Alexander Lowrie. She moved to London with the family as a small child, and eventualy married Richard George Rider on 25th March, 1860, in Bermondsey, giving her age as 20.
