Hi Claire Thank you very much for checking for the marriage of John STOBART and Dorothy. It is more likely to be the second one as Dorothy was born about 1811 so 1825 would be too early. I noticed in one of your earlier replies to Rob that you mentioned having checked both counties just in case they had popped over the line ... would the line have been the Tyne?!! Hi, would you do a search for me please? Marriage of John Manners to Ann ? Their first child was born in Cumberland in 1823 but Ann was born in Dipton, Durham in 1796 so marriage may have taken place there. Any info gratefully received. Thanks! Angela

Yes please Thomas Dixon born c1816 and Jane his wife William Stibbins born c1811 and his wife Ellen I think they would have been married mid 1830´s in South Shields. Thanks Marian
