Claire, if I pretend that I am someone different, could you do me another one please! This one has really been confusing me for ages Peter Hay to Isabel or Isabella. They settled in Newbottle, but their first child was christened at St Michael and All Angels Houghton le Spring in 1826. I thought I had found a marriage, but it was not until 1929. Also she came from Horton Shields which is in Northumberland, so I wondered if they had married there. I have a note to say that I think she may be Isabella Wood, I wish my memory was better and I might remember why I thought that!!!!!! Linda

Yes please Thomas Dixon born c1816 and Jane his wife William Stibbins born c1811 and his wife Ellen I think they would have been married mid 1830´s in South Shields. Thanks Marian
