Sheila, Thanks for looking up Thomas Dudman. Not sure this is the person that I need in hindsight. Could you possibly look up Francis T Deadman, or Francis T Dudman's birth certificate please? I think he may have been born between 1800 - 1840 in the same sort of area. Thanks Russell |

Sheila, Thanks once more for looking into that one. Can I ask for another favour? Could you see if there is a birth certificate anywhere for Thomas Masters circa 1863, Camberwell. Also if you can locate any of these names on the 1861 census: Walter Masters either 1816 or 1835 Camberwell. Emma Masters 1838 Southwark. Walter Masters 1859 Southwark. Thanks again for all your hard work Russell |

Hi Sheila, I checked and you are right, Mary and Lemuel didnt marry until 1865!I have actually got Mary on the 1861, it was Lemuel I am missing. He is a real pain, i have him in 1871 using his middle name James Barnes, by 1881 he was Lemuel James Barnes again, and by 1891 he was Thomas Barnes, and when I looked for him on familysearch.org Mary Hales' husband is named as James Edmond Barnes! No wonder I didnt find him on the 1861! He was def. born in Lambeth Surrey on 31/12/1843. If its too complicated to look on the 1861 census dont worry yourself with it! Thanks anyway, Pete |

Peter, did a search for Barnes with correct birthdate/place. Came up with 4 only. Alfred Charles John B James, son of George and Mary, could this be him? |

Sheila, you've found him!Yes, James would be Lemuel, he used his middle name on later census forms, and his father was definitely George. If you can send me any other details on them all it would be fantastic, I couldnt find him at all when i'd looked on the 1861 census before, this will really help me! Thank you so much!!Peter |

Hi Shelia. If your kind offer is still available I would love some info on the following please? Thomas Fisher born Stow-on-the-Wold, Glos. about 1842. 1861 he was living with the Kench family in Lower Swell, Did he marry Charlotte? No idea when he died. Henry Fisher, born Stow about 1850. I think he may have married a Sarah between 1881 and 1891. Edward or Edwin Fisher born between 1854-58, possibly married to Elizabeth by 1881. Alice Fisher born about 1848. I have no other info except thar she was 12 in 1861. Sorry this seems to be a bit long winded, Thanks in advance Babs |
