Thanks Sally, The family you found is the one I am tracing. I've checked the 1881 census but couldn't find under either name, JAMES or FREDERICK LEWSLEY. I did search free bmd but was not able to locate a death record. I'm trying to detemine any children so need 1861/71 census records. Hi Sally Thanks for that, appears that he is my g grandfathers nephew. I was hoping that he would turn out to be the father of these children found in the 1891 census. Emma 11 Jacob 4 Janet 3 Ruth 6 Susan 9 They were in the Union Workhouse, all born Radwinter. Could you look to see if there are any other possible parents and also if you can find John's second wifes name. Hoping I am not asking too much Appreciate your help.........................Carol
