No promises, but I'll do my best. Please post here (click 'Add Reply' at the top). PM requests will be ignored. I can access all censuses from 1851-1901 and a few 1841. I also have access to BMDs 1866-1920. Please don't post requests outside these dates as I can't help. England & Wales only. |

Jan, very puzzling. I don't think she and Alfred actually got married, hence the confusion on the censuses. I think this is her in the previous two censuses... Hi Tracy Thanks for your offer of help. Could you please look for the marriage of Samuel Revill. He was born in 1851 in Nottinghamshire and married to Ann. I am trying to find the date of the marriage and Ann's maiden name if you could possibly help. Lindsey |

Frances, there's only one marrying in 1870 and he's the same as on FreeBMD. There aren't any other DAMS as far as I can see. |

Tracey Thanks for the new offer. Emily McPherson born Feb 1835 in North Cray. She's with her parents in 1841 aged 6 but not woth them in 1851 and can't find her in 1861. There's a marriage on FRBD in Dec 1888 for an Emily McPherson but would she have married at 53 years old and if she did she should certainly been around for the 51 census and possibly 61 as a single girl even if she was marreid twice. Regards Roy McP. |

Christine, I'm not disputing that Cunliffe is a twin. What I am questioning, is whether he and Alice's brother William are twins. |

Chris | Report | 7 Nov 2005 12:55 |
Hi Tracy When i went to the register office for the birth certificate of Cunliffe, i asked the lady why it said the time of birth and why it said first born, she kindly told me that Cunliffe was the first born of twins the 2nd born was William born at 7.21 am so you can see the puzzle im left with! Why have they different parents? Christine |

|
☼ Orangeblossom ☼ - Tracy | Report | 7 Nov 2005 12:59 |
They can't have different parents and be twins lol Cunliffe must have a different brother William. He must have died before the 1851 census. |
