Hi Rosi, Thanks for the kind offer. Could you please see if you can find a marriage for me: John Ellwood & Elizabeth Scoon Wigton 1852. Their eldest child was born 5th June 1853, registered Wigton, so I guess they married just before that. Thanks, Gillian |

Hi peeps, Gillian, don't think I can help much. Several John Ellwoods, noen of them seem to tie in with a Wigton. In the 1850's the partners were listed separately; hard to read the registers so its difficult to cross check. sorry:(( Nichola Couldn't find a marriage for Victoria Mat AYRES in Cardiff. Did find, in 1920, DEC qtr, Victoria M married a HOWES in Northampton, 3b 133 Helen, Harry E Perrett Death. aged 41. Totnes SEP 5b 171 Keren Checked for death of Priscilla Charlton from 1851 til end of 1853. Registers not easy to read - so I may have missed her :( sorry. Hi Rosi, Thanks for looking. It might be better looking under SCOON as the name is less common? Thanks, Gillian |

Hallo Gillian, Apologies - senility setting in - I totally misread the brides name as Wigton so looked for Elizabeth Wigton - doh! However, Have found a marriage for; Elizabeth Winlow? SCOON. 1852, JUN, Sunderland, 10a 387. Couldn't match it with an Ellwood tho - so something awry somewhere! Joanie, Have looked again as you requested in 1871. I could find no marriage for a William Haines (or Hains) that was remotely Lancs or Liverpool. I am sorry. Rosi |

Hi Rosi, Just wondered if you still have any left could you possibly look for birth of Robert I Foreman and also death, Kent or Essex. Sorry to be so vague, I know he married in Chatham Kent 1965 Jan-Mar, Paula Helen Batson, and had 2 daughters 1965 and 1969, if this helps. Kind regards Christine |

Christine, can you narrow it down a bit? If you have his marraige cert. it should give his age - unless it was one of those which just says full age. And Kent & Essex have a lot of RO's! Have you got his mother's maiden name- bet you haven't- that's what you want to find his birth for isn't it? Nemmind! Death is harder - have you any idea of the year he died - give or take 5 years or so? and again - where? I am happy to look for you - I still have more than enough credits left, but could do with a bit more info if you have it. Rosi |

Hallo Christine, It wasn't so difficult after all- at least not his birth! Have found 2 possibillities: Robert J Foreman, 1938 Ist Qtr. Bromley 2a 1157 mmn - Foreman. Robert W Foreman 1937 Ist Qtr. Bromley 2a 973 mmn - Perrey. I checked from 1935 -1942 and those 2 are the only Robert Foreman entries in Kent (or Essex) that I could find. If these not the ones let me know and I'll have another look. Regards, Rosi |
