Hi Mo. Yes I have ruled the others out. My Edwards year of birth is always 1800 on census rahter than 1797 and 1812 and Martha was a name carried down the generations, thats the only way I have been able to think logically on this one. Hence I think if I have other siblings names this might confirm one way or another but i am pretty certain he is mine. Thanks for looking for me, Nicky |

Hi Maureen Thank you for the info on the marriages - it is much appreciated I have a baptizmal card that shows: Lyons Parish Church, Co Durham and that Joseph Herbert Dawson was baptized on Sunday September 25th 1898 signed by Rev JR Brown (Rector) Josephs father was called John (thats on Josephs m/cert) and his wife, we think, was called Sarah. I've always been led to believe that Joseph was born in Pittington. Hope the patio is going well ! Regards Angie And that is |

Hi Angela I've found the Church anyway.. The records are held at Durham.. The Lyons Parish Church is St Michael and All Angels. Looks like it was created from Hetton le Hole and St Laurence in 1869..It's not a one I have come across before.. Mo There is a John Dawson = Sarah A Kerrison E13 - 132 - Durham Eastern (1891) But I think its Easington Register Office |
