Find Ancestors

I am looking for the birth of GEORGE MORRIS I have been going through the BMD images to find the births for my Dad and his siblings. I have found everyone except George. I'm looking GEORGE MORRIS mothers maiden name is GIRLING. parents married 1931. Dorothy Morris Dec Q 1933 ( Llanelly) Harold Morris Dec Q 1936 ( Llanelly) Gwyneth Morris Jun Q 1938 ( Llanelly) ' John Morris Jun Q 1941 ( Bathavon ) George was younger than my Dad ( 1941 ) Possibly older than Harold but not sure. George died in his 30's shortly after marrying and before I can start to look for these I need to know when he was born. I've been looking at the index all afternoon for various records so must have missed it - is anyone willing to have another look for me ?...I'd be really grateful as I'm starting to go cross-eyed !! Esta I'm confused, if George was younger than your Dad he would have been born after 1941 Do you mean George was older than your Dad but younger than Harold? Linda

Esta My sisters, sister in Law was born in 1941, and IS NOT on the Idexes, something to do with the war years I'm afraid, so they reckon?although 99% of BMD did get registered that 1% keeps popping up and is a damn nuisance. Funny thing is or Luckily, she actually has her original Birth certificate. Carrie

I 'll volunteer to have a look as Linda has stated though, it's a bit confusing about the older - younger bit can you confirm and perhaps we could each take a year to look through. Pen x

No sign of George from 1935 through to 1939 Will try all other Morris's to see if any with Mothers name Girling on odd years Linda

I just checked 1931 while I was waiting (just in case they were naughty-or quick off the mark). No joy though.

Have just checked the evens, 1934 to 1940 - nothing Ok Linda, I shall check the ones from 1940 to 1944, evens I wonder if George was a middle name? Pen x

Ohhh........I'm really really sorry - My Dad is the youngest .....I meant that george was older.....SORRY. ( and I thought I'd typed it really carefully so as not to confuse anyone ) I'm really grateful to all of you trying to help........George is the only one left that I have to sort out...I just wanted to find birth before I try his Marriage and death ESta x

Are there any years going spare? There don't seem to be many quarters missing.
