Had 1 daughter under false name Kathleen Barbara Washbrook1930 Married James Laird Brown melbourne 1934.{2 children} remarried in 1955 Clarence charles Jarvis Williams. she died 1974. could find any info on any of these events. Hi Kerri, I am trying to ascertain if David Grant and wife Margaret Barclay who emigrated from Scotland to the Kyneton area of Victoria in 1863 remained or followed another Grant to New Zealand. A daughter Jessie arrived with them but I figure other children would have been born in following years if they stayed. Hope this request is not asking too much. Thanks... Heather

Hi Kerri This is a long shot with not many details. My Gt Uncle emigrated to Australia, where & exactly when, no one knows, but we dearly would love to trace him. The only details I know are: Edward George Cock b: 1878 in Putney Surrey (Greater London now) was possibly in the Army in the Lancers Corp in 1st World War and emigrated after that. From 1891 to 1901 census the family had changed the name to COCKS. Don't think he got married. He was the son of Edward Cock b: 1848 Putney & Rebecca Godsiff b:1853 Poplar London. Sorry its all a bit vague but if you can find a death record at least it would be somthing to go on. Regards Ingrid
