His twin brothers James and Leonard are at 49 Backchrist street in 1901, so Katie has the correct record. |

The records were on FMP. This Charles was only in the Army for 2 years and didn't go to India but he may have re-enlisted of course. Amazingly he was only 4ft 9ins tall! No other pension records seem to match up but they only go up to 1913. |

There is a Leonard(same one as in 1891 census?) living with grandmother in 1901 that could be in the same street as above if someone could check it on the 1901 image please |

Just to add, in re-reading this thread, I see that Jan found them in the1911 census, living in the Walker area of Newcastle. This is where the Charles detailed above says his father is living as his NoK in 1914. |

Rob i see what you mean about discharge in 1915 BUT on list of Promotions it shows Sergt on 13.1.1916 which is what he was when he died?? |
