Hi Pen, An 1833 Esther will be too young to get married in 1841 I think!! I have Esther from the 1851 as abt 1821 Rothwell so the 1820 one I gave you seems a very good match. As the 1851 is not producing her parents could you please check the '41, at least it will give me a stab at William & Hannah's ages, if not their places of birth. Thanks, David

Could you check for occupations, as you didn't mention them, please, thanks. 1861 For Ezra & Sarah (if she had one), 1871 Samuel was he a Nailer as he was on 1881 census. Alison...if it's not too much trouble. Ps Could you also look for Ezra Whittal bc1831 on the 1841 and 1851 censuses for Rowley, and also look for Sarah Willets for Halesowen bc1836. I will try to get copy of marriage certificate for their fathers names & occupations that would help...

Hi Pen, I have been studying the info you gave me this morning and I can get the 1841 'Benner' to fit (if Hannah got married as Ann!) but Sarah Preston as a daughter in law in 1851 does not work without her having a second marriage or something. Anyway, something new...... George Lee married Martha Johnson in Dewsbury in 1822 and halfway through having their family they moved to Mirfield (Yorks). Please could you see if this happy couple made it through to 1851. There are countless possible George Lee but there is a strong contender for Martha born in Dewsbury in 1801. I know how you love a challenge and if you only knew how hard I work to try and prevent you from being bored....... Many thanks, David
