Hello Julie, thanks for your kind offer. Maybe if you have time you could look something up for me ? I am looking for info on a Joseph Spurgeon (sometimes spelt Spurgin). I don't know his date of birth, but his son Michael was born in 1775 in Halstead Essex, so maybe his birth would be around 1750'ish. I'm looking to find out his proper date of birth, and also his date of marriage to a lady called Hannah. Also if possible, Hannah's maiden name. An added bonus would also be his parents names. Any info would be great. Thanks. Alison

Hello Julie, I wonder if you can help me. I have James Ketley and Eliza Tunbridge marrying 24th Dec 1849 in Great Waltham. There is one son born Great Waltham then they seem to move to Mashbury. I'm looking for their son, William. In the Mashbury Baptism Register he is baptised 7th June 1857. The only birth I can find is for 15th April 1857 so ordered that cert. The mother, Eliza nee Tunbridge is correct, but they have father as Joseph. And place of birth as Great Waltham. I can make excuses for these differences, but wonder if it would be possible to double check whether there could possibly be two Eliza Tunbridges marrying a Ketley, one James, one Joseph. I'm in Australia and have no idea where to start. Thank you very much.

Hi If you could look up for me anything on a John Sampson or Mary Ann Williams pre 1864 from the Kelverton area wuld be appreciated. I know that they where in Australia in 1864 because one of their sons was born 1864 in Richmond Tasmania. I dont hve any other info but they where married at some stage. any birth or marriage details or any details would be helpful. Thanks Kim

Margaret I couldn;t find a Benjamin French between 1807 and 1825 in Wethersfield. I did find a baptism in 1822 of a John French who was 22 years old when he was baptised. A labourer. Alison in NZ Joseph Spurgin (St Andrews Parish) bapt June 16 1754 son of Clement and Martha Spurgin. Joseph's marriage to Ann Barron on 6/9/1772. Heather Positive Tinker Hester Asbey baptised June 25 1809 daughter of Robert and Mary Asbey. St Marys Church Woodford. Nothing for you John Ferguson at St Nicholas Colchester.

Joseph Ketley married Jane Coe July 2 1858 His father also William Ketley. Another James Ketley (bachelor) m Charlotte Boutell april 5 1857. His father was William. He was aged 21. Eliza Ketley m John Haslor sept 24 1857. Her father Joseph Ketley. Charles Ketley m Sarah Crow July 29 1862 . His father William. Ann Ketley married John Brown Nov 5 1847. George Ketley m Eliza Gentry Oct 11 1845 William Keltey m Maria Gibson Dec 18 1846 Does this help??

Sandgroper down under Found all the siblings you mentioned up to 1905. I checked from 1899. These are the additions. Are you ready for this? Annie Alice Dec 19 1906.The following are also the same date, no ages mentioned. Florence Maud, Maud Ethel, Joseph William, Alfred Henry. William Charles May 1907. There was also a Beatrice Mary bapt May 3 1905, born to an Albert Ernest and Beatrice Mary Fisher. No Sylivia. I checked up to 1909. Deborah Tudor I didn;t find William but I did find Mary Ann HARDIN daughter of William and Sarah Bapt May 24 1829. I checked from 1822 to 1837. GILLIAN CRISP Couldn;t find the marriage in ROXWELL. Checked 1813-1836. KIM SAUNDERS Nothing for either of those people in Kelvedon. You put Kelverton but that doesn;t exist so I checked Kelvedon. Will be going again later in the week.
