Hi CZ Sorry for not appearing earlier, but I had a bit of an upset with the candle site (see Gen board). Also wanted to apologise again for thinking I'd found the birth record when I hadn't! A few things occurred to me during the night, like why your Mum is the middle child but the only one to have the two mother's maiden names? Could be like Joan and I said before, that somebody different registered your Mum's birth. I also wondered if Kathleen was maybe registered as Charlotte Kathleen, and just chose to use it the other way round? There is a Charlotte K Wolstencroft in the right birth index (3rd quarter 1912), but I don't want to confuse things even further. Another thing that I noticed whilst trawling through all the indexes, is that Wolstencroft is very much a 'northern' name, Lancashire area, whereas the Busbys are Londoners. I hardly like to suggest this, but there is another possibility. Could your Mum be the result of an affair? For example, if Kathleen had an affair with a Mr Wolstencroft and wanted to make sure it was included in some way on your Mum's birth cert, she could have said that she'd been known by that name at some time. Sorry folks My friend was rushed to hospital last night I was there from 9.30 til 4.30 this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait either but dont know when we will all get back I,m here after work today at 1.30 and I WILL tell you ALL the gossip as most parties are now dead so my mum says its ok to tell THANKS everyone I really excited to find out too
