Could someone give me the details of 1939 Register in relation to Patricia Marjory King who was born on the 16th May 1929. Unfortunately I have no other information.

There seem to be a number of Patricia M King’s on freebmd so could you make a guess at the area of the country she was born in.

Maybe Essex .In 1957 she was living in Walthamstow and she married in Redbridge. East End, Romford?

She isn’t an open record in 1939.

She did NOT marry BRIAN MAC ANDREWS - as per info I provided some days ago

Didn't die till 2007, so no chance of her being visible on 1939 before 2029/30, unless someone requests it and provides evidence of death

Her birth.....you could have found it yourself using freebmd and the GRO website

Once again thank you for your endeavours; they are much appreciated. Sorry if I breached the etiquette of the site, but if you don't know the rules it is easy to break them unintentionally.

Your suggestion that i could have found Patricia's birth myself rather defeats the point of the forum which is to help those who do not have the skills or the tools to do it themselves.

The information you gave me that Patricia did not marry was wrong; Patricia M Andrews married Brian M Andrews in the Redbridge District in 1967. .

As I said in my post on your other thread the woman changed her name by Deed Poll and I therefore did not notice the marriage some ten years later as Andrews. TBH, I didn’t even look for one

The ‘tools’ for finding births are FREE to all and widely identified on these boards.
It is so much more rewarding for you if you can find info yourself

To be certain that the info I have suggested is the right person, your contact should buy a copy of the marriage cert

The ability to search for a mother’s name on the GRO is a fairly new change. You do have to register to do it and, of course, you have to pay for certificates, some of which can then be downloaded.
You also have to register for the free Family Search site but Freebmd/ Freereg and Freecen are all easy to access with no registration.

Just for added info, you can apply for wills from the gov. Probate office.
