I believe my great grandfather died in 1916 when his ship was sunk in the Mediterranean of the coast of Egypt. First name we are not sure about. It could be Edmond, Edmund or George. If anyone has a family member that matches please contact me |

Your grandfather Alfred E gives his birthdate as 30/12/1905 on 1939 Register, but there is NO birth registered in England/Wales to tally. |

The naval- history website doesn’t name a Hudson as either dying on the 6th or dying or being taken prisoner when the ship HMS Arabis was sunk on the 20th. |
