Do you have a tree on ancestry Marcus? If so, you already have Mary Ann James as a possible wife.

If it is your tree, you have gone wrong with having Samuel Riddley b 1870 as their son. The 1871 census goes from p 12 with George and Mary on to p 15 with Samuel on.
Samuel Ridley has parents William and Ann.

The census appear more often to give a birth year of 1816, going by the age he is said to be, so would mean 1815/16

Age 75 in 1891 - don't forget the age given would be to the best knowledge of the person completing the census / registering the death

There are several George Smith deaths between 1891 and 1901 in the Croyden RD where they were living in 1891 within a year or so of the age he would have been if born 1814

Mary is a widow in 1901 so I expect one of those deaths is George
