Some weird and wonderful stuff on those trees!

For instance, the supposed sister Mary Ann Malley/Malloy, born 1845 Castlebar -

"proof" of her existence is supposedly an 1881 census record for John and Mary Noon, living in Gateshead.

Mary Noon was definitely born in Castlebar, per census records - but c1850 per the census, and all the children's births show that her maiden surname was Gibbins / Gibbons.

John & Mary married in Leeds in 1869.

How do you know that, please?
The marriage, census, and death records all say Fanny.

ADDED:
I see that some trees on Ancestry have her as Catherine Frances, born 1847 in Donegal, but they don't appear to have any proof.
Some just call her Frances - but still have no proof.

Her parents are said to be Anthony Malley and Mary Campbell.

Some say that Anthony and Mary's other children are :
Elizabeth 1841 Castlebar, Mayo.
Mary Ann, 1845, Castebar.
Susan 1847, Ireland.
John 18/4/1865, Glasgow

Catherine Frances is said to have died in Salford (!) 28/2/1889.

There's no such death record on FreeBMD - because Fanny died in Glasgow, as already posted.

If by Catherine you mean Fanny -

even if the above marriage is indeed her parents' (and it's only a suggestion), I don't see Fanny's birth so far, never mind any other children of that couple.

cant help noticing there is a 30 year old age difference in 1881 and 1891 for thomas

Caza gives the names of Thomas parents. It is only Catherine’s that are not.

Malay should be an easy name to find, unless it is a misprint for Malloy.

Get a copy of the marriage cert for details of both sets of parents as a starting point

It would help a great deal if you could give any clue as to where in Ireland Thomas was born.

Have you considered looking at Family Search which has a lot of Irish records.

Try Googling for all the Irish genealogy sites - some of them are free to search.
