Can't see 2548 North Fairhill Street in 1940 census - nor any other number anywhere near that - only addresses in the 5000s and 6000s.

Many thanks Maddie & ArgyllGran I have details for Simon his wife and the sons but Joan just seems to elude me. I thought that the 1950 census might just be the place where I might find her.

Pennsylvania seems to be one of the states they haven't got to yet re the 1950 census.

I have returned to this post as I have now found Joan Sadler or rather Eleanor: It appears that she was born Eleanor in 1937; details from the 1950 census:
I assume that she was either Eleanor Joan or she just used the name Joan all her adult life:

Her father Simon's naturalisation record, which I posted on 15th April 2022 at 16:34, gives Eleanor Joan's DOB as 18th Jan 1937.

Her brother Joseph Patrick was born 25 Oct 1935.

Two trees on Ancestry have photos of her.

No, sorry, of course it's not the 1936 record which gives her full name and DOB. It's a different naturalisation record .
