Wondering if any one could help me please. Trying to help a friend.
I'm searching for info on a Richard Ambler b. 1908 Driffield and his wife Margaret Tomlinson b.1911.

I have Richard's parents as Thomas Henry Ambler b. 1880 Hull and Annie Legard. I already have info on Annie, but nothing else for Thomas.

Thomas Henry's parents were John Ambler b. 1841 knottingley west Yorkshire and Sarah Ann Laycock b.1845 Bridlington.
I cannot find a marriage record for them and have only found them in the 1881 census.

I am still struggling to find a marriage for John Ambler and Sarah Ann Laycock.

I did think that, but census records show her as Sarah Ambler and that she was married.
