Hi can anyone help please, I'm looking for a marriage around 1830 between William Curtis b.1807 Chelsea, London and Ann (surname not known)b.1809 Abergavenny, Monmouthshire she d.1870 in Newport, Mon. William's occupation was a Seaman. I have the information on their children, their first two Catherine Elizabeth b.1832 and Ann b1836 were b in London, then William b.1841 Newport, Mon, then Ebenezer b.1842 in Lancashire. ErikaH, thanks but Ebenezer is on the 1851 census for St. Woollos, Newport Monmouthshire age 9 with his family, just can't find him afterwards. |

The one who died was the one whose birth was registered, meaning that it WASN’T the one in your tree. That was the point I was making |

The Registers Of Wages And Effects Of Deceased Seamen, 1852-1889 posted by Maddie above, is for a 19 year old, supposedly picked up in Belize and allowed to work his passage home on board the Martha Pope. |
