Please could I have some help with locating census records.

1871 census, Monk Street, Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorganshire, Wales
Christopher Martin 1845, Wife Catherine 1848,Son John 1869 and son Richard 1871

In 1881, 74 New Road, Hindley ,Wigan, Lancashire.
Christopher,Catherine,John,Richard, and Charity 1876, Sarah E 1878 and Thomas 1881.

Then in 1910 at Hanover,Luzerne,Pennsylvania,USA. Christopher,Catherine,Richard and Charlotte age 32, Thomas age 28 and Bessie age 24. According to this census Christopher (not stated whether with or without family) emigrated in 1888.

I cant find the family in 1890/1891 or 1900/1901. or in any emigration records.

I am trying to piece together what happened to the family members but without the missing census's its proving a bit difficult.

Any help would be really appreciated.

So the family appears to have emigrated in 1888, returned to the UK in 1899, were in Scotland in 1901, but back in the US by 1910/

Obituary for Charlotte Martin in the Wilkes-Barre Record 19 Mar 1949

Miss Charlotte Martin, 73 died at her home 72 Simon Block Street, Buttonwood at 12:30 yesterday following an illness of several years.
Born in England, Miss Martin came to Lee Park as a young girl and spent most of her life there, moving to Buttonwood several years ago.
She is survived by three sisters, Miss Bessie Martin with whom she made her home; Mrs Sarah Honeychurch, Lee Park, and Mrs Kate Lanyon, Philadelphia. A brother, Richard Martin, died one year ago.
The funeral will take place from the home Monday afternoon at 1:30 with interment at Pine Hill Cemetery, Shickshinny
