I have this info and tried to use it to check the census both for England and Wales - 1901 and 1911!

I have tried to use wildcards, surname only, initials, where birth registered etc.

What I am trying to find is the parents of both James and Dora known as Annie!

Buy a copy of their marriage cert to find out if they knew their fathers

Helpers have no idea what information you have or haven't got unless you tell us. Meantimes we're trying to work round what we can find to try to help.

You said in your OP you couldn't find James or Dora pre or post marriage, so presumably couldn't find the children either.

It might help to get the marriage certificate which should give their ages and occupations and Father's names and occupations.

Perhaps you could tell us all you know.

Ancestry trees suggest it is and that Charles died 1954 in Merthyr Tydfil

Also on Ancestry trees - James Charles Williams enlisted aged 45 in 1915 but only lasted a few months before being discharge no longer physically fit.
NOK was wife at 22 ? Cross Street in St Pauls district, Bristol

An Ancestry tree has baptism of a son 24 May 1888 James George to Dora Annie Anderson at St Mark's, Easton, Glos. Abode Barton Regis Workhouse and her occupation said to be a Charwoman

None of the trees has parents for James or Dora

Most certainly looks like the death registration.

I have found what I believe to by James death in 1954!
