Find Ancestors

I have Edmund Thomas born 8th March 1904 on the 1939 census living at 1149 Foleshill Road, Coventry with his wife (my 1st cousin twice removed) Agnes M Thomas nee Williams, born 28 Apr 1911. They married in Dec qtr 1929, Merthyr Tydfil. They had 3 children, Joyce, Wendy and Edmund Jr.

I was told that Edmund senior was one of six children, they names I have been given so far is Margaret, Richard and Myma (not sure of this spelling) I have all the information I need for these 4 children, but have not been able to find the other 2, although I was only "told" there are 2 more. However, I would like to find Edmunds parents, and the other 2 siblings. I know they came from Wales and moved to Coventry, an address which I do know for a fact they lived at was Arbury Avenue, Coventry, for very many years.

I think it just may be that I do not have enough information on Edmund senior, and with it being a common name I may never find it, but I would like to try to find his parents and other siblings. I thought the marriage banns if they exist would help me further but have not successful in finding them, I will order the MC if I have to, but I wondered if you could just have a quick look for me please, for banns or census records, but please don't waste too much time on it as I am aware I have not provided much information.

As you know the names of his siblings, you can find his birth by matching up with theirs.

I will start with the 2nd one, Rhymney has just jogged my memory, also it has a Margaret and I know all about Margaret, she had a daughter called Ann who married an MP. Thanks ErickaH, I will start there.

There is a Thomas Thomas at 55 Forge Street in 1901, age 25, single, am hoping this is the right one.

Yes, son named after her father. I have someone I can ask about Margaret, she knows the daughter Ann, well.
