Find Ancestors

Hello, William Cole Swanson marries Ann Elizabeth Ward on 16 April 1825 at St Dunstan and All Saints Church, Stepney, London. Could someone take a look on FMP to see if it gives any further details. Also on page 5 of FMP there is the following - Chamarid William Cole Swanson event date 1827 London Gazette 1665-2018. I have no idea what this means so could someone also take a look at this entry to see what it is about. When searching I put his DOB as 1800 plus/minus 5 years which is a guess. Thank you.
PS - There are two baptisms for their children which I have - thank you.

Thanks Maddie. I think I'm clutching at straws on this one, trying to make a connection where there may not be one. Robert Ward of Gainford, Co Durham had a Will dated 6 April 1844. He leaves bequests to his son Robert Ward, his daughter Mary Margaret who marries John Brewer (I have Mary and John on a previous thread) his daughter Elizabeth Castell and his three grandsons Robert Swanston, William Swanston and John Swanston (note the t in the name). Neither of the boys have reached the age of 21 and there is no mention of their parents. I can't find them on the 1841 census but on all the following census returns they are in the north of England. Birth place Middlesex. William marries 1856 father William Cole Swanson and John marries 1865 father William Cole Swanson. Robert marries Maria(n) 1848. Can't find a burial/death for William or Ann either. I may be putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5.

Thanks Maddie. Ann had a sister called Elizabeth so the witness of Eliza Ward may be her. Alvie, I think that the burial record you have found must be Ann Elizabeth as she was born/baptised April 1800 and especially as she is buried at Gainford. I wonder if William Cole also died before 1844 which is why Robert made provision for them. I'm very pleased that I'm on the right track.

Maddie, I wondered why I couldn't find John George baptism in London, didn't think of Gainford.

Keep looking at this death but nothing to prove it is William. Seems strange his middle name is missing.
