ADDED: WBRS are the initials of William Bird and Robert Sprague who were David Herbert's partners in crime.

I think it just means he had those initials tattooed, like the other initials - but what they mean, goodness knows.

Can anyone work out what WBRS stands for? I thought maybe waist band right side or wrist band right side,

I've just spotted a record on Ancestry in New South Wales Australia Registers of Coroners Inquests 1821-1937 for a David Herbert Death abt 1857.
Please could someone take a look and seen if it relates to the David Herbert I'm reseaching.

I have just worked out what the letters D B H H H D J H G H H stand for:
DBH are his initials, HH is his wife's initials, DJH and GHH are his son's initials

Yes it does say that as there is another record the same with it clearly saying woman two children on upper arm.

I think that word on AG's post of discription is for tattos and it says woman, two children on upper arm.

Yes that's him! AG sorry looks like I had a senoir moment when I named the ship.He married in 1832 and had a son born 1833, his wife was expecting when he was sentenced and gave birth to their 2nd son in July 1835.

I don't see a marriage in NSW.

There's this possibility for his death, but it doesn't give an age, so can't be sure, and we don't know where he ended up living.

Hi,

I am trying to find out what happened to David Herbert AFTER he was transported to New South Wales in 1835 I have EVERYTHING on him up until he arrived in Australia but I don't have access to Australian records.
He was born in 1812 and was transported on the Discovery 3 arriving in New South Wales on the 25/2/1836.
Ancestry have a record of him on: New South Wales Convict Indents 1788-1842
which records a ticket of leave and a pardon so if anyone could take a look at that record to see what infomation there is, if any and anything else in the Australian records for marraiges, deaths, or anything else that relates to him I would be most greatful.
