Hello.

I have hit a wall when it come to tracing my grandads side of the family. I would really like to know some more about my great grandad Ernst Green. I am told he was a judge & master or the hunt unsure what this means. I know he married twice had my grandad Thomas green with 1st wife then (gets strange) married my nans mum. So yeah my grandad and nan was step brother and sister when they got together. After they did for some reason my nan lost both her boys I just want to know if my grandad was a judge and may had something to do with this any info would be lovely. I just seem to get mass hits x

No-one can possibly try to help unless you give dates and location.

The name is so common, it's impossible to find info without some clues.

That’s thing I haven’t got really any dates to give. I have found his wedding certificate to my nans mum 2nd marriage in 1943 in Walsall Birmingham. I believe this is where they lived till 1945 ish when they moved to Dover. I know my nan who he married was Rose Heap and she was born in 1900 but I don’t no if that’s means he was to. Sorry for lack of information x

When/where was Thomas W born? Or when/where did he die?

Yes Ernest was the father of Thomas William Green but we don’t no who his mother was. I’m not sure where my grandad was born he was born between 1930 1932 my grandad is Thomas Green. I would really like to find my great grandads 1st to my nan. I believe she died in the war hence he remarried x

Wow that’s so strange as we thought they lived in Birmingham. Till his second marriage then came to Dover with her. Gets more confusing but great to know x

Yeah I have thanks. I have just found same as above about my great nans death thank you. I looking to find my great grandads birth now. I spoke to my mum and she remembers her dad saying she died whilst he was young that how I go to it. But that you have found it just amazing x
