1911 census says they have been married 18 years - have had 15 children of whom 8 have died.
If the man fathered illegitimate children they would almost certainly have been registered under the mothers' names, and you'll never find them
Easy to find the legitimate births - then look on freebmd for deaths of any which do not appear on the 1911 census - which I post below

This marriage would probably account for the birth of Alice Elizabeth Jun Qtr 1896 and Herbert William born Jun qtr 1908 in the Newport RD
Surname First name(s) District Vol Page Marriages Jun 1896 (>99%) Evans Fanny Elizabeth Newport.Sh 6a 1618 Leese Herbert Newport, Sh. 6a 1618
This still leaves a possible 16 born pre the 1911 census. Either there was a miscount ie 16 born 9 died or another of the Leese/Evans births wasn't your couple.
Walter and James who you have born 1917 ? twins - would appear to be just the one child called Walter James born Mar Qtr 1917

This is probably Sarah Elizabeth Evans birth
Name: Mother's Maiden Surname: EVANS, SARAH ELIZABETH JOHNSON GRO Reference: 1872 S Quarter in STOKE UPON TRENT Volume 06B Page 249
which would make her 40/41 when Alan was born, 42 for William so feasible, but 47/8 for Winifred and 50/51 for Marjorie which is a little more unlikely perhaps??

Several possible marriages for a Marjorie Leese in Stoke (and other places) - 1941 onwards. She would have been too young to show on the 1939 register - either she's still alive or her death has not been picked up

John and Sarah in 1939 - no children at home with them.
Original shows name spelt Leese - will report
58 Lockett's Lane, Stoke-On-Trent C.B., Staffordshire, England
First name(s) Last name(s) DOB Sex Occupation Marital status Schedule Schedule Sub Number John Lees 11 Sep 1872 Male Potters Handler Married 173 1 Sarah E Lees 02 Jun 1872 Female Unpaid Domestic Duties Married 173 2 Ref: RG101/5313B/014/19 Letter Code: ONOE
So this looks to be John's birth registration - no Mother's maiden name, so unmarried Mother (Unless his birth wasn't registered - no penalties until mid 1870's)
Name: Mother's Maiden Surname: LEESE, JOHN - GRO Reference: 1872 S Quarter in STOKE UPON TRENT Volume 06B Page 265

If you go back to Staffsbmd - look for the subdistrict of Longton for births. Unless they moved I think you'll find William 1914 is the last possible birth
You'll find the deaths I posted there too, although there are other Longton area deaths

Staffordshire Burial indexes shows all but Rose buried in Longton Cemetery
http://www.bmsgh.org/burialsearch/cgi/burialind.cgi
Only Norman and Reginald appear to be buried in the same grave
Alice is buried with a SArah Evans aged 45 (from GRO) + 1 other - possibly a relation?

A tree on Ancestry (never trust them unless well documented) has the children listed - no mention of Rose / Harold or Norman pre 1911 and only Alan listed post 1911
They have Alice 1896 - presume your Alice Elizabeth who is probably discounted.
The tree shows Lilian married to a William Hulstone (b1899) and death 1982 Stoke. No proof offered.
There is this marriage - Surname First name(s) Spouse District Vol Page Marriages Dec 1918 (>99%) Barrett Levi Wiseman Stoke T. 6b 378 Hulstone William H Leese Stoke T. 6b 378 <<<<< Leese Lilian Hulstone Stoke T. 6b 378 <<<<< Wiseman Mary A Barrett Stoke T. 6b 378

THis is the family in 1939 - Lilians DOB would be in line with a Q3 registration in 1897

Explanation of closed records For individual people, records remain closed for a century after their birth (the 100-year rule), unless it can be proven that they passed away before this milestone. Use the ‘Open This Record’ button if you believe that this person is now deceased
There was a child born 1919 (the closed record, so either living long or death has not been picked up prior to 2007) and also one in 1941 - find births on https://www.freebmd.org.uk/
and then possible marriages etc
