Am looking for birth details of Samuel Millsum Davies b 1894 I believe in Wales??

He married my grandfathers sister Alice Elsie May Smith in 1918, Weymouth, Dorset and died there in 1955 aged about 61 years.

Rachel is listed as mother in 1891 census as posted above by safc, whereas you Greyghost lists her as Mary Elizabeth nee Milburn.

Just to add to the confusion, I have just looked up Samuel's brother - Leonard Maurice Davies on 1911 census again listed above by safc, and there the mothers maiden name is Friedman !!

Am a bit confused here.

EDIT - just looked up possible marriage of parents -

Jacob Davies marries Rachel Friedman in Liverpool in June quarter 1888.
