I'm not brilliant with pc at the best of times but the information I had on the above I wrote down then deleted the information off pc, having had to have a sort out of paperwork I now realise I've lost my notes on Harry and Percy, therefore , I would be very pleased if anyone could tell me the relationship of these 2 men. This is the information I do have for them..: I know they were BROTHERS-IN-LAW as Harry married the eldest sister Ada - and Percy married her youngest sister Mary(Marie)
Both men came from Stamford-in-the Vale Berkshire. HARRY was BORN 1868
PERCY was BORN 1878. Harrys parents were Charles and Elizabeth and
Percys' parents were Charles and Ann. Also I cant find Percy on the census as GR keeps saying there is no Percy Wicks found on the census. I do have all the usual information about Percy and I know he married twice but its the relationship -if any- between Percy and Harry before their marriages that I'm interested in as family rumour said they were brothers but I don't think they are unless their father is the same man and he married twice. Be glad of any help thank you Have found Percy on 1901 and 1911 census now but not before.

Entirely possible that the father married twice, which would, of course, mean they were HALF-brothers

The one is Percy on board ship. When Percy was almost 17 he joined the Royal Navy. It appears they were brothers and brothers-in-law! I have a letter from a relative that mentions Harry and Percy and some other names but no real details, unfortunately the relative who gave me what little information I had died last year so I cant ask for more. If the 1891 census is correct, then this looks to be Annie Wicks in 1901 - so 2 census and both times says born Rutland.
