Ok, so i have traced back to James Goddard born approx 1789 in Reading, Berkshire and died approx 1866.
He married a Margaret Fowel born c1792-1875. She was born in Devizes, Wiltshire. However, they were married in Marylebone on 30.03/1812.
How do i find out any further history relating to this family? xx

As they married before Civil Registration came into force, you won't find any parental info on the marriage record

The best you can hope for is a baptism

You should be able to find James's death on freebmd
