Presumably he's the Mark Frederick J Guyatt in the 1871 and 1881 censuses above, and whose burial Erika has posted.

I've said this before, but it never ceases to amaze me how people on this site are willing to spend their own time helping others. Erika and ArgyllGran, thank you both very much. I had nothing on Elsom Guyatt before today, but your information has clarified how he fits in to the British Guyatts. I already had most of the census details you provided, but thank you for taking the trouble to post them.
