Yes, I agree with that, GG.
Here they are in 1901 - Mary senior is again Agnes:
Mary McNeely in the 1901 Scotland Census Name: Mary McNeely Age: 23 Estimated birth year: abt 1878 Relationship: Daur (Daughter) Mother's name: Agnes McNeely Gender: Female Where born: Pollokshaws, Renfrewshire Registration Number: 562/2 Registration district: Eastwood Landward Civil Parish: Eastwood County: Renfrewshire Address: Old Field Entry Occupation: Printfield Worker ED: 15 Household schedule number: 91 Line: 18 Roll: CSSCT1901_192 Household Members: Name Age Agnes McNeely 46 - Milton, Dunbartonshire Mary McNeely 23 Samuel McNeely 20 Susan McNeely 13

Agnes Rennie in the 1871 Scotland Census Name: Agnes Rennie [Agnes Love] Age: 15 Estimated birth year: abt 1856 Relationship: Daughter Father's name: David Love Mother's name: Christina Love Gender: Female Where born: Dumbarton, Dumbartonshire Registration Number: 562 Registration district: Eastwood Civil Parish: Eastwood County: Renfrewshire Address: 82 Thornliebank Occupation: Clark Driver Printfield ED: 14 Household schedule number: 192 Line: 22 Roll: CSSCT1871_96 Household Members: Name Age David Love 25 Christina Love 23 John Lawrie 32 - boarder Agnes Rennie 15 Mary Rennie 11
As Agnes and sister Mary are listed after the boarder, I suspect that they are in a different household from the Loves and the boarder, and are not related to the Loves.
EDIT: Yes, I had a look, and they are a different household. However, in spite of Agnes and Mary being a household on their own, they are both listed as "daughter". Maybe because they are minors, and not able to be listed as "head" ???
The occupation of both is Cloth Drier Printfield.
