More Info needed. I started a new post for this but it was suggested I add it to this thread. I am having no luck finding a death record for George Blake born on 17th March 1862 in Bengal India. His son is Maurice Blake from this thread who was born on 22nd January 1896 Thayetmo Burma India. I don't know where George died or in what country. George's Father Henry William Blake died in London on 4th April 1908. I also cant find a death for George's wife Mary Ann (Bartholomew) who he married on 8th August 1888 in India . Any help with finding any death information would be much appreciated Thank you Pam

George was apparently still living in1930 - not stated as deceased on Maurice's marriage cert.

If he had returned to the UK, I can see only one death after 1930 of a George Blake, without middle initials, born c1862.

However, the only way to find out if that's him is to buy a copy of the cert.
Personally, I don't think that's your George.

I strongly suspect, though can't prove a thing, that he did not return to the UK.
He was born in India and married and lived his life in India and Burma, so likely also died there
I don't see his death in India or Burma, however. (Nor Mary Ann.)

I don't see any record of him travelling to the UK - not that that proves anything.

Thanks I also don't think its the Durham death. Its a hard one to crack, and as mentioned Mary Ann his wife is just as hard to find Pam

I have the probate entry above . George had a younger brother Charles born on 17th January Bengal India. He was married to Lydia Annie Aslan on 23rd June 1885 in Burma India. Charles died on 24th May 1912 and is buried in his hometown Rangoon Bengal India, Thanks Pam

Still looking for new info. for death of George Blake born 1862 India. or his wife Mary Ann (nee Bartholomew) I have now seen a copy of the Baptism for his son Maurice born on 22nd January 1896. Baptised at St Johns Baptist Church Thayetmyo on 12 February 1901 . Thanks for any more help on where I could look for the death of his Father George . Pam
